The internationally sought-after British pianist Simon Lepper, a regular guest at Oper Frankfurt, appears with singers including Christiane Karg, Stéphane Degout, Angelika Kirchschlager,  Stephen Loges, Sally Matthews, Mark Padmore, Dame Felicity Palmer, Christopher Purves, Elizabeth Watts and Lawrence Zazzo at venues including the Wigmore Hall in London, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Musee d’Orsay in Paris, the BBC Proms in London, the Edinburgh and Ravinia festivals and the Schubertiade in Hohenems. He made his debut at the Carnegie Hall in New York with the mezzo-soprano Karen Cargill and opened the highest concert in the world with Aida Garifulina in Shenzhen, China.  He performs often with Ilker Arcayürek: they have given recitals in Barcelona, Zurich New York, San Francisco and London, and their Schubert almum - The Path of Life (Prospero Classical) - was nominated for a 2021 Opus Klassik prize. The discography of this award winning artist includes Lieder and chamber music by Schubert, Debussy, Mahler and Strauss, Schönberg, Feldman, Zimmermann and Xenakis (Phantasy of Spring with the violinist Carolin Widmann (ECM), which won the Diapason d'Or and a German Critics Award). Simon Lepper is a professor at the Royal College of Music in London and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
