Orla Mc Carthy is appearing in her first production at Oper Frankfurt. This Irish born artist works as a dancer, performer and trainer in Frankfurt am Main, where she graduated in contemporary dance from the HfMDK. She has appeared in the Netherlands and Poland in productions choreographed by Iván Pérez. She is currently on tour with Island/Wyspa, a co-production between INNE / Iván Pérez and the Teatr Pieśń Kozła / Song of the Goat Theatre. She also took part in an interdisciplinary project in Offenbach, titled The Melting Pot. She works with contemporary choreographers including Mor Shani in the Dansatelier in Rotterdam and Jianhui Wang at the Korzo Theatre in Den Haag.
